Mandate
GENERAL CONVENTION 1964 RESOLUTION Resolved, That the Presiding Bishop appoint a Theological Committee, composed of members of this House, the purpose of which Committee shall be to engage in continuing dialogue with contemporary theologians; and that this Committee report from time to time to the House of Bishops, in order that this House may be better informed as to the nature of the crisis in the relationship between the language of Theology and that of modern culture.
